LVI introduces new Chairman of Board of Management

      Dated  11/11/2016, Lao Viet Insurance Company (LVI) held the 19^th Meeting of Board of Management in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province, Vietnam to evaluate the results of 10^th 2016, approve the business orientation for the last 02 months and introduce new Chairman of Board of Management.

      Accordingly, in order to meet the needs of management of LVI, both joint-parties (BIC and BCEL) agreed and elected Mr. Tran Hoai An, CEO of BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC) to become new Chairman of Board of Management of LVI, replaced for Mr. Tran Luc Lang (Deputy General Director of BIDV, Chairman of BIC) from the date of 12/11/2016. With many years of experience in management as the CEO of BIC, Mr. Tran Hoai An will help LVI improve the management capacity, thereby promoting business activities in the insurance market in Laos.

      In 10^th 2016, Lao’s economy faced with a lot of difficulties, the main business indicators of LVI also affected. Total written premium reached $ 7.5 million, profit before tax was USD 1.1 million. In the last 02 months, LVI will focus on implementing solutions in order to complete business plan at the highest results.
